Three stages, nine steps
Most of the stress in a remodel comes from not knowing what happens next. So we planned the whole process and wrote it down. Here is every step, in order.
Before any work starts, you know the scope, the price and how we work.
Step 1
We talk through your project by phone or video and give you a rough ballpark. The call is free, with no obligation.
Step 2
Ryan and our designer visit your home, take measurements and photos, and talk through what you want and need. This visit has a fee based on the size of the project. It is waived if you hire us.
Step 3
You get our Welcome Pack. It explains how we work and what to expect at every stage.
Step 4
One clear, fixed price in writing, with allowances for your selections and contingencies built in.
Once you say yes, we plan every detail before construction begins.
Step 5
When you accept the estimate, your deposit puts you on our schedule.
Step 6
Margaret, our designer, shops with you for finishes, fixtures and materials.
Step 7
You get a build schedule you can follow, with every phase and date. We have never gone over one, and we usually finish early.
We only do one job at a time. Once we start, yours is our only job until it is done.
Step 8
You hear from us every workday: what got done and what is next.
Step 9
We walk the finished project with you. Then you get your “Your Home” book, a complete record of your remodel.
At the end of every job
When the job is done, you get a complete record of your remodel in one branded PDF. Everything that went into your home, in one place.
Warranty
Every remodel carries a 5-year warranty on structural work.
A 1-year warranty on our workmanship and installation.
Product and manufacturer defects are covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty, not ours.
Not only was the build schedule spot on, he was there every single day and when he brought in other teams, they arrived exactly when he planned.
